The Holiday Inn Express Ayr Hotel is located just 3.5 miles from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport and from some of the best Golf Courses in Scotland. These include the 2009 Open Championship venue of Turnberry and another Open Golf Championship Course, Royal Troon and many more. The hotel is only minutes away from Ayr Racecourse which holds the Ayr Gold Cup every September. We are also only 5 miles away from the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, where you will see the birthplace of Robert Burns.

Rooms:

Rooms are either twins or doubles at your request. Family and double rooms all have a sofa bed. Connecting rooms are available for families subject to availability and rooms with facilities for disabled guests can also be provided. The rooms are all en-suite with separate toilet and power shower facilities. All have a wired internet connection (payable separately) at the task lit workstation. Hairdryers supplied in every room.

Aceessible rooms are available with direct access from car park to reception and all floors. The hotel has specifically designed twin or double rooms with extra wide doorways and adjoining rooms for carers. Large accessible wetrooms with full showering facilities including grab rails, shower seat and extra wide doors. Rooms have accessible security pull cords and 1500mm wheelchair turning circles.

Ayr is a popular seaside resort in the heart of Burns Country. Situated 36 miles south of Glasgow, Ayr, with its sea front, leafy suburbs and large selection of places to stay, is a popular seaside resort. Ayr Racecourse, dating back to the 16th century, runs many Flat and National Hunt meetings throughout the year and is particularly famous as the venue of the Scottish Grand National, the Ayrshire Handicap and the Ayr Gold Cup.
